Position: Front Desk Salesperson

Pay Range: $16-$23 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

We are seeking a personable and knowledgeable Front Desk Salesperson with a strong understanding of automotive mechanics to join our team. This role combines customer service, sales, and technical expertise to provide an exceptional experience for our clients.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries, service scheduling, and product recommendations.
• Use your automotive knowledge to answer technical questions about vehicle repairs, maintenance, and services.
• Provide accurate estimates for services, explaining processes and pricing to customers in a clear and professional manner.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate services, upgrades, or products to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
• Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to ensure accurate communication of customer concerns and service updates.
• Process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Experience: Prior experience in customer service or sales is required; experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred.
• Automotive Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle systems, repairs, and maintenance processes.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain technical information to customers.
• Sales Skills: Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
• Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with office software and point-of-sale systems; experience with automotive service software is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address customer concerns and provide solutions effectively.
• Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and motivated to provide top-tier service.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an automotive shop environment.
