Whoyou are
- Hands on experience building, fabricating, assembling, disassembling and/or testing
- Comfortable using tools and working with your hands, or writing spreadsheets at your desk
- Comfortable with writing and using software scripts, logging data and drafting documents
- Highly organized and able to communicate effectively
- Must be self-motivated with strong initiative to deliver solutions efficiently and effectively.
- Able to balance between the perfect solution and just getting it done.
- Must be able to work well in an open team environment.
- Execute test procedures and experiments on new and returned product
- Read, follow, and maintain documentation for QC test procedures and experiment plans
- Disassemble, assemble and inspect returned products on a routine basis
- Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis. Track hardware product performance
- Log data and constantly improve data clarity and organization for the IoT test team
- Work closely with supply chain on inventory processes
- Work closely with Hardware and Test Engineers on new experiments and QC processes
- BS or trade school certificate, equivalent or relevant hands‑on work experience
- Experience with electronics or electrical testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
- Experience with tools and measurement methods, units, tolerances
- Is comfortable disassembling and inspecting electromechanical devices
- Capable of standing and performing light manual labor for many hours per shift
- Strong organizational skills and is detail oriented
- Experience with Python, Matlab and/or data acquisition software is a plus
- Experience with issue tracking and source control such as Jira/Bitbucket is a plus
- Experience in a manufacturing or consumer/industrial product test environment is a plus

The role requires on‑site presence in our Columbus, Ohio office. Candidates must be within a commutable distance.
