We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Combination Building Inspector to join our professional team. This position offers opportunity for dynamic, motivated self‑starters to work on a variety of construction assignments and to contribute to exciting projects.

• Perform field inspections during various stages of construction
• Read and examine plans and specifications when required
• Report violations and maintain files/records
• Perform other related duties as required

• Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction procedures/technology
• Interpretation of in the field and ability to provide code‑compliant solutions
• Positive interaction with staff, general public, contractors, government entities, and clientele
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management, organization, and attention to detail skills
• Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment

• OH Building Inspector Certification (Residential/Limited Commercial (RLC) (Lvl
  3)) required
• Interim/trainee certification may be accepted
• OH Electrical Safety Inspector Certification (Residential/Limited Commercial (RLC) (Lvl
  3) with Electrical Safety Inspector (ESI) Specialization/Endorsement) required or ability to obtain required
• Interim/trainee certification may be accepted
• Additional OH Certifications a plus
• Experience in municipal code inspections preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required
