About the Role

Equity ECS is a full‑service commercial real‑estate firm. Our comprehensive platform includes development, construction, brokerage, and property management services tailored to each client’s needs.

As Senior Project Manager, you oversee many tasks that must be completed in construction, renovation, or restructuring projects. This role delegates tasks to subordinate project managers, contractors, and laborers and is responsible for permits, programming, design, construction, and communication with architects, clients, vendors, and staff.

Key Objectives (Responsibilities)
  • Provide leadership and direction for all phases of assigned projects—including planning, pre‑construction, execution, and closeout—ensuring alignment with client goals, design intent, and Equity ECS standards of quality and accountability.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal partners throughout the design and construction process to promote teamwork, problem‑solving, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Lead design team while creating conceptual budgets, leading design value‑engineering efforts, balancing creativity and constructability to achieve cost‑effective, high‑performing solutions.
  • Support pre‑construction by reviewing estimates, evaluating project approaches, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, mitigate risk, and deliver value.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, establishing milestone dates and ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with contract requirements, client expectations, and company priorities.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation—including scopes of work, contracts, purchase orders, reports, and budget updates—to support clear communication and accountability across teams.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure favorable terms, cost control, and alignment with Equity ECS quality and performance expectations.
  • Coordinate permitting efforts and ensure all required approvals and licenses are secured and maintained in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and change‑management processes to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Partner closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure the project is constructed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and reporting, maintaining visibility into costs, progress, and resource needs to ensure proactive decision‑making.
  • Lead regular project meetings to maintain alignment between internal teams, trade partners, and clients, reinforcing clear communication and shared accountability.
  • Mentor and develop project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement consistent with the core values and pillars of Equity ECS.
