General Description:The Project Engineer positionprovidesa qualifiedindividualthe opportunity to gain real world experience in the concrete construction industry. You will gain experienceregardingthe design and construction of foundations, walls, slabs, paving, and structural concrete.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare,submit, and document all material submittals
- Review drawings and specs for RFIs
- Prepare quality control and production records
- Provide technical, quality control, and administrative support to Superintendents and Project Managers
- Order and track project materials
- Accurately maintain project records throughout the course of construction.
- Manage document control, including drawing revisions, and communicate changes to the project team
- Maintain as-built drawings and record meeting minutes forforemanand OAC meetings
- Manage buyout and procurement of concrete, rebar, stone, and miscellaneous materials
- Coordinate rebar shop drawings and delivery schedules with detailers and suppliers
- Draft and submit sawcut plans for slabs and site concrete
- Track pour quantities and production against budget and schedule
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and multitask to meet deadlines
- Desire to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, inclusive work environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 0–3 years of construction experience — recent graduates with co-op or internship experience encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam a plus
