Construction Project Supervisor

Join our team as a Construction Project Supervisor in Columbus, OH. Our client is seeking a professional to oversee construction projects at both the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager levels, dependent on experience.

This includes projects such as educational facilities, churches, and other non-residential buildings. Residential construction experience will not suffice for this role.

As the Construction Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, collaborating with clients, field leaders, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, with high-quality results, on time, and within budget.

Duties:

Oversee commercial and industrial construction projects from start to finish

Act as a primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal management

Create and manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, billing documents, and project records

Review drawings, scopes of work, contracts, specifications, and project requirements

Lead project meetings, monitor progress, address issues, and provide updates to stakeholders

Monitor subcontractor performance, job costs, safety, quality, and compliance

Provide support, guidance, and coordination to project teams to ensure accountability and successful outcomes

Requirements:

Previous hands-on experience in commercial or industrial construction project management

Background working with a commercial design-build contractor is highly preferred

Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Adobe, and Timberline/Sage is a plus Thorough understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation

Ability to interpret plans, specifications, scopes, and contracts

Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Degree in construction management, engineering, civil engineering, or related field is advantageous
