BWC’s core hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with variations based on operational needs. Most positions are on-site at one of BWC’s seven offices. Flex-time schedules are available, allowing start times from 7:00am to 8:30am with supervisor approval.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Produce computer-generated learning applications, tutorials, graphics, and visual communication services for the Performance Support and Training Department.
- Create and maintain intranet web pages for training, performance support, and marketing.
- Design visual solutions using scientific methods in a creative setting.
- Consult on and analyze intranet websites with customers to design training and support pages.
- Create support graphics using tools like Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and others.
- Recommend policies and procedures for visual design, hardware/software, media, and printing methods.
- Coordinate with IT to publish items on servers.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate:
- 36 months of training or experience in electronic graphic design AND 12 months in HTML/web design.
- Or completion of an associate’s program in graphic communication or multimedia tech AND 36 months experience in website creation.
- Or completion of a bachelor’s in visual communications with emphasis on graphic or industrial design AND 24 months experience in web creation.
- Or equivalent qualifications.
Skills: Graphic arts
Knowledge of: BWC policies, public relations, visual communications, computer hardware/software, HTML.
Skills in: Using personal computers and applicable software.
Abilities to: Design print and web materials, interpret instructions, proofread materials, recognize errors, work independently, handle sensitive inquiries, gather and classify data, and cooperate on group projects.
