Architectural Interior Designer

We are searching for a passionate interior designer who is skilled in architectural and digital design. We expect this designer to have expertise in digital design and rendering software including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, etc. The ideal candidate will have a base knowledge of residential interior design and enthusiasm to learn and grow within the field.

As an architectural designer with Anne Rogers Interiors, you will support the Senior/Lead Designer by digitally representing designs, creating presentations and schedules, and communicating to clients or contractors as needed. You will need to be a creative individual who can efficiently manage your own schedule while multitasking between design and administrative tasks on various residential design projects.

• Work with Senior/Lead Designer to develop innovative exterior and interior designs, including additions, whole-house remodels, and new builds that align with clients' visions and site constraints.
• Create detailed architectural drawings, elevations, and renderings using design software (AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, etc.), focusing on all aspects of exterior and interior elements such as facades, roofing, landscaping, outdoor living spaces, and interior detailing.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design revisions, and client communications.
• Efficiently manage multiple projects at once, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Create presentations, schedules, and visualizations to help clients better understand the proposed exterior and interior designs.
• Participate in design strategy sessions and collaborate with the design team on research, concept, and presentation development.
• Research best practices, materials, and new design trends/concepts.
• Work with team to create plans and drawings relating to millwork, plumbing, tile, cabinetry, and more.
• Collaborate with the design team on presentation creation and client meeting preparation.
• Attend and contribute to meetings with clients, contractors, and partners.
• Attend industry and organizational events.
• Support office staff with paperwork and office organization as needed.
• Participate in team projects and business growth initiatives.

• Strong understanding of residential architecture styles, exterior design principles, construction methods, and wood framing techniques.
• Proven experience in Interior Design or related field.
• Education in design or related field.
• Reliable transportation for self and needed materials throughout the central Ohio area.
• Portfolio of design work.
• High level of integrity and respect for peers.
• Detail oriented with accurate data entry skills.
• Resourceful and have strong retention and recall abilities.
• Organizational and prioritizing skills with ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities.
• Basic technological skills including MS Office proficiency.
• Must upload resume and portfolio or other example of work.
