Toole Design Group in Columbus, OH is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Landscape Architect - Project Manager. Do you have 5+ years of progressive experience in landscape architecture, including concept through final design, and sound capabilities in business development and project management? This position will lead projects with a focus on public realm and active transportation, and earns a competitive salary and great benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, a health savings account (HSA), and a flexible spending account (FSA). A Day in the Life of a Landscape Architect - PMGet ready to apply your broad knowledge of design criteria and methods, spatial design and hands-on management experience to a variety landscape architecture and urban design projects for the largest part of our public realm, our transportation network. At Toole Design, you ll team up with our engineers and urban designers across the Midwest, leading exciting landscape and urban design projects from day one.
You ll work hands-on with clients, communities, and coworkers to shape great public spaces, on projects from start to finish, from stakeholder outreach and design workshops to construction documents and administration. You ll often take the reins as Project Manager, guiding a passionate crew of designers, planners, and engineers to bring big ideas to life. Along the way, you ll help grow our landscape architecture practice and strengthen its role in reimagining the public realm, especially our transportation networks.

We are targeting a salary range of $77,000 to $92,000 for this position.
QualificationsLandscape Architect - PM:
- A bachelor s and/or master s degree in landscape architecture
- 5+ years of progressive career experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in streetscape design, project programming, master planning, site design, and all design phases
- Experience in preparing construction documents
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD
- An interest in streetscapes and multimodal transportation design
- Strong project management skills including development of project staffing and schedules, developing and monitoring project budgets, cost estimating and specifications
It would be a plus if you had any of the following:
- Licensure in OH and/or other Midwest States
- Proficiency in Micro Station
- Strong proficiency with hand and digital graphic techniques to communicate design ideas and produce illustrative graphics
