As the Senior Architect
, you will join the firm at our Columbus, OH office and be responsible for leading projects from design through construction to successful completion in our Discovery & Science division. Your work will require highly developed expertise in project management, architectural design, and technical knowledge. This management‑level role provides the opportunity to pursue professional growth.

• Manage the clients, project staff, and consultants through the project process on multiple complex projects.
• Utilize operational management tools, including workload forecasting, resource planning, and project team development.
• Manage and develop project documents as per client, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including identifying and recruiting high‑quality staff with leadership potential.
• Create and foster relationships with key clients while managing client expectations.
• Maintain project budgets to ensure profitability.
• Apply interpersonal communication skills to build strong working relationships, resolve conflicts, and motivate the project team.
• Collaborate across other disciplines with internal and external team members.
• Promote a workplace culture that is consistent with the BHDP Collective Ambition.

• A professional, accredited degree in Architecture is preferred, along with 10+ years’ experience and professional registration.
• Experience with science projects and clients is highly desired.
• Strong communication skills.
• Expert knowledge in advanced technology (e.g., Revit, Sketch‑Up, Rhino).
• Demonstrated project management and staff leadership success.
• A drive to achieve.
