Role Overview

The Training Event Manager is a proactive, confident, and highly organized operations leader responsible for planning, organizing, and executing Fire Tech’s in-person training events. This position reports to the Business Development Manager and works in alignment with the Event Sales Lead to ensure training events support revenue goals, customer satisfaction, and consistent delivery standards.

You bring strong event operations experience and work independently to keep events on track. You manage scheduling, registrations, communication, and event readiness while using tools like , Google Workspace, and CRM systems to keep processes organized and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full logistics lifecycle of all in-person training events, including hands‑on workshops and classroom sessions.
  • Manage instructor and facilitator communication, participant registration, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate venue details, equipment needs, seating layouts, and material preparation.
  • Ensure tools, materials, and technical equipment are prepared, delivered, and tested ahead of schedule.
  • Maintain attendance, accurate records, and post‑event feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the day‑of operational lead, overseeing check‑in, troubleshooting, and event flow.
  • Utilize cloud‑based platforms (e.g., , Google Workspace, CRM systems) to plan, track, and communicate event progress.
  • Maintain event calendars, documentation, and workflows across cloud systems.
  • Keep leadership and stakeholders informed through shared dashboards and structured communication.
  • Manage vendor interactions, facilitator scheduling, and reporting with independence.
  • Oversee post‑event follow‑up including surveys, data review, and operational refinement.
  • Lead maintenance of customer registration databases with high accuracy.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and solution‑oriented communication.
  • Prepare event documentation, reports, and presentations using cloud‑based systems.
  • Assist the Business Development team with conference‑related tasks such as materials prep, registration updates, and small logistics items.
  • Ensure alignment between Events and Business Development teams through consistent communication and documentation leadership.
  • Manage Association Relationships.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management or administrative leadership.
  • Ability to lead processes with minimal supervision and maintain strong ownership of outcomes.
  • Familiarity with event scheduling software or structure.
  • Proficiency with cloud‑based systems such as  (CRM), Microsoft Teams, or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, leadership, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience maintaining data in CRM or event management platforms.
Preferred & Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience managing training programs, workshops, or multi‑day events.
  • Interest or basic understanding of AI tools and automation platforms.
  • Background in customer service or operational leadership.
