Physician - OB​/GYN

Overview

We are looking for a doctor to work in a Level III NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). The job includes:

• Work mostly in a clinic, about 3 to 3.5 days a week, and spend 1 day a week in the operating room (OR).
• Be on call with a team, taking turns every 4 to 5 weeks, including weekends; midwives will cover some calls every 3 weeks.
• Provide care for pregnant women and perform gynecological surgery, including robotic surgery (if you are interested in robotic surgery, that’s a plus).

You will join a supportive team and work in a clinic that offers traditional services and call duties.

• You need to live within 30 minutes of the hospitals.
• No need to supervise other staff.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

• You must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (this means you should be planning to take the test within 2 years).
• You must have a medical license in Ohio, or be willing to get one.
• You need to have a clean history with no malpractice or license issues.
• You need to have a DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration, or be able to obtain one.
• It is highly preferred if you have an interest in robotic surgery.

• Board Certified:
  You have finished all training and passed the necessary tests.
• Board Eligible:
  You are ready to take the tests within two years.
• DEA:
  This is a registration for doctors to prescribe medications.
• State License Requirements:
  You must meet the rules for practicing medicine in Ohio.
