Gerlach Endowed Chair in Epilepsy Research – Neurology Department

• Lead the new Gerlach Endowed Chair position and oversee all aspects of the program.

• Advance the scientific understanding of epileptic disorders through high‑impact research, teaching, and clinical practice.
• Develop and secure external research funding and foster collaborations with national and international partners.

• Doctorate (PhD, MD/PhD) in a relevant field; successful completion of a background check required.
• Significant experience in epilepsy research, with a strong publication record and evidence of successful grant acquisition.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and a commitment to teaching and clinical service.
• Ability to comply with pre‑employment physical and drug‑screening requirements.
