Physician - Department of Radiology, Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging​/Track Faculty

Position Overview

The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center seeks a faculty Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging Radiologist. Candidates should be passionate about collaborative, patient‑centered clinical excellence, research, education, and inclusivity.

• Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.
• Traditional in‑person, 8 am – 5 pm coverage Monday–Friday for both part‑time and full‑time positions.
• No evening or overnight call responsibilities.
• Evening shift option: 4 pm – 1 am; 7 days on, 14 days off rotation schedule.
• Remote/hybrid opportunities available for the right candidate.
• Weekend and holiday coverage equitably shared among faculty.

• Provide high‑quality patient care and contribute to clinical and imaging operations for the Abdominal & Pelvic imaging service.
• Education, training, and faculty development:
  • Conduct and provide clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings both within OSUWMC and at regional and national venues.
  • Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
  • Serve as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty.
• Research and scholarship:
  • Support clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
  • May serve as PI or Co‑I in grants and/or clinical trials.
  • Serve on departmental and institutional committees to represent research and innovation interests.

• M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. in imaging and/or imaging‑related fields.
• Board certification in Radiology (A , AO ).
• Subspecialty fellowship in Abdominal & Pelvic imaging, or equivalent experience.
• Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Must support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of the College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University.
