Position Overview
The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center seeks a faculty Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging Radiologist. Candidates should be passionate about collaborative, patient‑centered clinical excellence, research, education, and inclusivity.
Employment Details- Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.
- Traditional in‑person, 8 am – 5 pm coverage Monday–Friday for both part‑time and full‑time positions.
- No evening or overnight call responsibilities.
- Evening shift option: 4 pm – 1 am; 7 days on, 14 days off rotation schedule.
- Remote/hybrid opportunities available for the right candidate.
- Weekend and holiday coverage equitably shared among faculty.
- Provide high‑quality patient care and contribute to clinical and imaging operations for the Abdominal & Pelvic imaging service.
- Education, training, and faculty development:
- Conduct and provide clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings both within OSUWMC and at regional and national venues.
- Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
- Serve as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty.
- Research and scholarship:
- Support clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
- May serve as PI or Co‑I in grants and/or clinical trials.
- Serve on departmental and institutional committees to represent research and innovation interests.
- M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. in imaging and/or imaging‑related fields.
- Board certification in Radiology (A , AO ).
- Subspecialty fellowship in Abdominal & Pelvic imaging, or equivalent experience.
- Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Must support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of the College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University.
