Overview

Physician - Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Glaucoma Division (Open Rank/Track Faculty) at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Full-time faculty position in the Glaucoma division. Rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

• Provide patient care in the Glaucoma division, with or without the presence of a trainee.
• Engage in research and education activities aligned with the academic mission of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.
• Contribute to coverage at Columbus, VA as required and participate in clinical service at OSUWMC facilities and other assigned sites.
• Participate in divisional, departmental, and college committee functions; engage with local, regional, and national professional organizations as appropriate.

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Ophthalmology by the time of appointment; eligible for Ohio licensure.
• MD or DO degree; completed an approved residency in Ophthalmology; subspecialty training in Glaucoma fellowship required.
• Knowledge and proficiency in medical and surgical management of Glaucoma.
• Evidence of scholarship through basic and/or clinical research and publications; commitment to resident, fellow, and medical student education.
