The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.
The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Musculoskeletal imaging who are passionate about collaborative, patient-centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity. He/she/they will contribute to the Department’s ambition while upholding the organization’s mission and values. The responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to patient care, research, and training graduate and postgraduate students.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- This is a full-time position with a mix of day shift (7am – 4pm) and evening shift (12pm – 8am) responsibilities. Weekend call coverage is approximately 1 in 7.
- Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Interventional Radiology Division of the Department of Radiology:
- Provides high-quality patient care as related to the Interventional Radiology Service.
- Contributes to clinical and imaging operations as related to the Interventional Radiology Service.
- Education, Training, and Faculty Development:
- Conducts and provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at the regional and national level.
- Collaborates with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
- Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.
- Research and Scholarship:
- Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovation
- May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials
- Serves on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent the research and innovation interests of the Department, as appropriate
- M.D., or D.O., in imaging and/or imaging-related fields
- Board certification in Radiology (A , AO )
- Subspecialty fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging, or equivalent experience
- Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio
- Must support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University

Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) – Persons with titles of assistant professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical and professor-clinical. These faculty will have earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field. Clinical faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of three to five years. They may be reappointed to successive terms.
Their principal career focus is the delivery of exemplary clinical care, and may include teaching, and/or research.
