Physician – Clinical Faculty, Radiation Oncologist – Genitourinary (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

Position Type: Regular, Full‑time, First Shift.

Position Overview

The Physician will provide licensed medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, case management, and clinical research for GU patients. Responsibilities include managing complex cases, performing surgical and pre‑/post‑surgical care as needed, and adhering to medical center policies and protocols.

Department & Division Overview

Part of the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Department of Radiation Oncology at OSUCCC‑James, a nationally ranked NCI‑designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Treatment Sites
  • GU cancer care continuum: prevention, screening, detection, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Facilities:
    Main Campus and James Outpatient Care with 6 Varian True Beam Linacs, 1 Varian Halcyon with Ethos, 2 CT simulators, MR, and Brachytherapy suite.
  • Team: 6 GU radiation oncologists, 4 Advanced Practice Providers, 4 RNs; therapists, dosimetrists, and physics personnel.
Job Requirements
  • MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited residency.
  • Board Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology.
  • Eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
