Physician – Radiation Oncology Dept, Clinical Director

Position Overview

The Clinical Director reports directly to the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations and oversees all activities of the Radiation Oncology Department. Responsibilities include oversight of main campus and breast center clinical services, quality of care, resource utilization, protocol and practice guideline development, accreditation and regulatory compliance, and supervision of residents and fellows. The role also represents the department in institutional and external engagements, drives initiatives to advance patient outcomes, faculty development, and program excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed medical care including diagnosis, treatment, case management, and clinical research.
• Oversee quality of care, resource utilization, protocol development and regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, HIPAA, OSHA).
• Supervise and educate residents and fellows in radiation oncology.
• Represent the department in institutional and external engagements.
• Drive initiatives to advance patient outcomes, faculty development, and program excellence.

Job Requirements

• MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited residency.
• Board Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology.
• Eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Experience in radiation oncology with technical, clinical and (when appropriate) surgical skills.
