A tenure track faculty position available at the Associate or Full Professor level in the Department of Neurological Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. The position will work closely with translational scientists across basic science departments and within the Gene Therapy Institute.

Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty member’s tenure initiation unit (TIU) and, as appropriate, regional campus; obligations will include research, service and/or teaching or clinical practice.

• Ph.D., M.D. degree or equivalent, post‑doctoral training, commitment to basic and/or translational neuroscience, and strong research productivity.
• Ability to establish innovative independent research programs and develop collaborative ideas with existing programs.
• Provide a Research Statement detailing planned independent research, description of previous research experience, and a detailed curriculum vitae (CV).
