In addition, in our first four graduating classes (in spring 2020 – 2023) 100% of students were accepted to college and/or military service and 100% graduated.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Senior Regional Operations & Compliance Associate plays a vital role in ensuring operational excellence and compliance integrity across KIPP Columbus. This position supports regional compliance management by ensuring data is accurate, documentation is complete, and reporting is timely across key operational service areas including child nutrition, transportation, and state compliance requirements.

The Senior Regional Operations & Compliance Associate works closely with both regional team members and school-based operations teams to ensure that compliance submissions are accurate and all required documentation is collected, verified, and maintained. In addition to compliance responsibilities, this role provides essential support for special projects such as coordinating external event requests, managing logistics for campus‑wide events, and preparing materials and logistics for monthly Board of Directors meetings.

• Managing regional compliance systems to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting for all operational services, including child nutrition, transportation, and state compliance requirements.
• Collecting, verifying, and organizing required documentation for monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance submissions.
• Maintaining up‑to‑date trackers and dashboards that monitor data, deadlines, and deliverables to drive operational excellence.
• Supporting the preparation and submission of reports to the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW), KIPP Columbus’ charter sponsor, and other relevant agencies.
• Assisting in preparation for audits, sponsor reviews, and compliance site visits by ensuring documentation is current and complete.
• Coordinating logistics for monthly Board of Directors meetings, including catering orders, agenda preparation, and room setup.
