Job Title:
CVM Course Coordinator## Department:
Veterinary Medicine | College Administration Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Professional Programs, the CVM Course Coordinator provides support to faculty, staff and DVM students throughout the DVM program. Collaborates with faculty and staff to administer the courses of the program within applicable laws, policies and processes. The coordinator will assist with course organization, scheduling, and assessment. Helps monitor student participation and acts as student liaison to the courses.
Monitors student performance and alerts course and college leadership regarding trends. Assists leadership with quality assurance processes and supports accreditation.
* Administrative responsibilities related to Carmen – procuring and posting of materials, organization of site, etc.
* Coordinate assessment logistics, assist course leaders with grading as required, create assessment reports for student progress and support decisions.
* Proctor exam space for students as needed.
* Effectively problem solve to support students and act as liaison with course leaders.
* Relieve faculty of day-to-day course administration duties that arise.## Additional Information:

* REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*** Previous academic or student services administrative or office support experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
* Strong organizational attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software systems.
* Ability to handle sensitive student information with discretion and in compliance with institutional policies.
** DESIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
*** Preferred minimum years of relevant educational experience: 2-4
* Previous experience supporting students in a higher education learning environment.
*
* PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:
*** Sitting/staring at computer screens for long periods of time.
* Exposure to animal dander and/or zoonotic diseases.
* Navigating veterinary medical facilities as needed for accommodation implementation and problem solving.
*** Target Salary Range: $19.28 - $25.19 per hour**; commensurate with experience, internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.*##
