Overview

We are hiring Assistant Guides for our Guidepost Montessori school  the opportunity to empower 0 to 6-year-olds to gain independence, self-confidence, and an enduring love of learning!

Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable Assistant Guides (Teachers) to support a mixed-age class of Infants, Toddler, and Preschool (ages 3-6) children in a Montessori environment. In a Montessori environment, guides carefully prepare an environment that fosters independence and captivates a child’s interest. Guides provide personalized support to each child, offer individual and small-group lessons, show children how to use the materials, and give them precise language to understand their experiences.

Because of the prepared environment, children have liberty to explore and work on materials of their choice for as long as they want. The support and materials help every child develop skills, confidence, and a belief in their own capabilities.

We’re looking for an Assistant Guide who will bring their best to support every child in reaching their highest potential.

• Observe children closely to understand and meet their needs
• Prepare a beautiful, orderly environment that fosters independence and concentration
