Join to apply for the Water/Wastewater Designer/EIT role at HDR.
HDR is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Designer to join the Water Business Group. The successful candidate will work as part of a team on studies, detailed design, and construction services for water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems.
Primary Responsibilities- Create detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, analysis, and study reports for water and wastewater systems, including determining appropriate design methods, equipment sizing, selection, and cost estimation.
- Assist the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Experience in evaluating, designing, and developing drawings and specifications for water/wastewater treatment facilities and pump station projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management software.
- Revit, Micro Station, and/or AutoCAD experience.
- Preference for local candidates.
- EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months; candidates hired without their EIT will be titled "Water/Wastewater Designer" and expected to obtain EIT for career progression.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Interest or experience in designing water/wastewater treatment facilities.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Micro Station.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This position is based in Ohio with locations in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Columbus. The salary range is $51,730 - $84,985, depending on skills, experience, and location.
