Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Lead Controls Service Engineer based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Lead Controls Service Engineer will oversee and perform diagnostic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of building automation and control systems. Daily responsibilities include providing technical support, conducting field service tasks, coordinating with clients, and ensuring timely resolution of system issues. The role requires excellent communication and problem‑solving skills to effectively address customer needs and deliver high‑quality results.
Qualifications- Proven experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing complex building automation control systems
- Expertise in field service operations, including system inspections and on‑site technical tasks
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in technical support and handling technical inquiries and issues
- Expertise in maintenance & repair of building systems for optimal performance
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and controls software
- Ability to lead and mentor teams of technicians
- Relevant certifications in HVAC, BAS, or controls systems are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field preferred
