Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
Hill International is seeking a Sr Project Manager in Columbus, Ohio
Responsibilities- Ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects concurrently
- Liaison between the Owner, design team, and contractor
- Ability to assign and manage resources as needed across multiple projects
- Oversees estimating reconciliation
- Coordinate architect/engineers/subcontractors and contractors on respective contracts
- Coordinate schedule and budget information on multiple projects
- Ability to review project documents (drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, schedules, etc.) and evaluate the completeness for the respective phase of design and/or construction
- Ability to engage in the resolution of potential claims and change orders
- Responsible for managing the quality of the project(s) to ensure successful completion within budget and schedule
- Must familiarize and develop a strategy to coordinate the requirements/needs of all interested parties
- Must be able to analyze requested design/construction changes and to manage the change process
- Responsible for monitoring the contractor's progress and schedule
- Coordinate communications between contractors, client site personnel and consulting engineers
- Prepare reports and summaries as needed
- Initiate on-site project meetings as needed
- Conduct and attend various meetings
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management discipline
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of project and construction management
- Proficient in standard Microsoft Office projects
- Thorough knowledge of architectural/engineering design and construction
- CMR delivery method experience preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively utilizing limited resources to achieve complex goals
- Extensive experience in managing and influencing diverse work groups and project teams
- Demonstrated customer service decision-making, problem-solving negotiations and interpersonal skills
