Our Water and Wastewater practice includes over 900 treatment plants, ranging from some of the largest and most complex in the world to small remote communities. We specialize in advanced treatment, automation/information management, nutrient recovery, odor control, operations and management evaluation, process review and optimization, and reclamation and reuse. Our designs meet discharge limits that push the boundaries of existing solutions, and we conduct research into emerging contaminants.

• Perform water/wastewater engineering design, including engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, and documentation for pipelines, pump stations, tunnels, and treatment systems.
• Analyze and design water/wastewater system components.
• Assist in the evaluation, selection, and specification development of water/wastewater systems and materials.
• Produce sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats to support system development.
• Prepare project documents, client presentations, and client communications for specific deliverables.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with design intent.
• Develop construction specifications, plans, and schedules.
• Review shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFI, prepare site observation reports, and perform contract administration tasks.
• Recognize technical problems and initiate corrective actions.
• Attend and assist in client, contractor, stakeholder, and regulatory agency meetings.
• Participate in basic cost estimating under senior engineer direction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Pay ranges are provided where required, and final compensation is based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Certain roles may be bonus eligible. Part‑time compensation is pro‑rated based on hours worked.
