What You Will Contribute to OHM AdvisorsThe successful Senior Project Engineer will have the opportunity to assist leading a multi‑disciplinary team of engineers and technicians on municipal projects. Project engineering responsibilities include infrastructure design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, and thorough project QA/QC. Additional duties include assisting with developing and managing the project scope, schedule, and budget; and delivering an overall quality project to our clients.
Collaboration with a team of engineers and mentoring of entry‑level staff will be essential.
- Assist with managing multi‑disciplinary engineering projects and engineers.
- Assist with developing and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Design municipal projects involving infrastructure design, site/civil design, water resources, roadway rehabilitation/reconstruction, and pedestrian/bicycle facilities.
- Understanding of State, Local, and Federal funding programs.
- Understanding City of Columbus and ODOT design criteria, standards, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
- Participation in local professional society functions.
- Ohio Professional Engineering License.
- 10 years of Municipal Project Engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Hydro
CAD.
- The desire and ability to build strong client relationships.
- Ability to train entry‑level engineers and interns.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
