Maintenance Planning Engineer

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about equipment reliability, process improvement, and operational excellence. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our assets perform at their best by planning, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance activities across the plant.

Responsibilities
  • Work Planning & Coordination
  • Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, and resources for both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Schedule contractors, ensure all required documentation is completed, and provide escorts when needed.
  • CMMS Management
  • Create, track, and close maintenance work orders using the CMMS.
  • Monitor technician labor hours and preventive maintenance compliance.
  • Generate performance, reliability, and compliance reports.
  • Analyze CMMS data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager and Engineering teams with project planning and documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
  • Assist with machine repairs, modifications, and builds alongside engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Manage MRO purchasing and maintain accurate spare parts inventory records.
  • Hydraulics, Electrical systems, Controls, High-pressure steam/boilers, Pneumatics
  • Welding and mechanical troubleshooting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Previous experience in maintenance planning required.
  • Experience with various CMMS platforms.
