The Role Rogue Product Development Cad/Drafting Technician
Rogue's product development team is looking for a CAD/Drafting Technician to help create and improve our products. In this role, you will be responsible for making detailed part drawings and developing technical training/assembly manuals/customer instructions. We are looking for someone who is passionate about fitness, highly self‑motivated, and has great attention to detail. This position will have a direct role in working on innovative projects and contributing to our top‑quality equipment.
Passion about Rogue and the strength training market is critical to this role. The Product Designer - CAD/Drafting Technician is a fully onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Associate's degree in drafting, CAD technology, engineering technology, or a related field
- Previous experience as a drafter or in a similar role is often preferred. This can include internships or project-based work if you’re newer to the field
- Understanding of drafting standards, practices, and techniques, including the ability to create detailed and accurate technical drawings
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Illustrator, Solid Works, or similar tools
- Very strong mechanical aptitude with ability to complete mathematical calculations as required
