Office of Fiscal & Monitoring Services

The Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services (OFMS) Fiscal Services Division is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all the Agency's budget activities. This encompasses the biennial budget process, annual budget implementation, and projecting federal budget estimates. The Division is also responsible for the management of the Agency's revenue, disbursements, and financial obligations as well as performing daily federal cash draws, reconciles and reports on federal grant status.

Working Title: Assistant Deputy Director

The primary purpose of this job lead is the preparation and administration of the agency's annual budget, coordinate the biennial budget process to align resources with strategic priorities.

Job Duties
  • Oversees the receipt, tracking, and reporting of numerous federal grants.
  • Ensures daily compliance with federal requirements and accurate financial reporting.
  • Manages agency financial operations by managing revenues, disbursement, obligations through established coding and accounting services.
  • Serves as the primary contact with funding and monitoring sources such as U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, General Accounting, and the Office of Budget Management.
  • Acts as a key advisor to the Director and serves as backup to the Deputy Director on all fiscal issues.
  • Directly manages fiscal operations performed by the Bureau of Accounting, Bureau of Fiscal & Planning Operations, and Bureau of Grants Management.
  • Can independently manage multiple assignments with persistence, thoroughness, detail orientation, and strong organization.
