KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Property Tax Compliance to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent client service to multi‑state companies with property tax compliance.
- Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation.
- Assist in property tax bill payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS).
- Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies.
- Minimum three years of recent work experience, including a minimum of two years in personal property tax compliance preparing returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS.
- Bachelor's degree required. A J.D., LL.M. in taxation, a master’s in taxation (MST) from an accredited institution, or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred.
- Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax.
- Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution related to property tax.
