Our client is seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead their financial operations and ensure the integrity of all accounting and reporting functions. As Controller, you will oversee the accounting department and play a key role in shaping financial strategy, managing internal controls, and supporting cross‑functional initiatives that enhance organizational performance.

• Lead and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month‑end/year‑end close processes.
• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and monitor budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support strategic decision‑making.
• Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Supervise payroll and related compliance functions to guarantee timely and accurate compensation.
• Drive process improvements and implement workflow automation to increase efficiency and accuracy across financial operations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to align financial practices with organizational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with Paychex payroll software a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and influence cross‑functional initiatives effectively.
