Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN office (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)
* We are open to hire at either the Senior or Lead level, depending on experience (years of experience and salary band listed is for lead level).This position will be responsible for the financial tracking/reporting on NiSource's enterprise wide savings initiatives. This analyst will be the center point of financial support for multiple teams including:
Apollo CI, Supply Chain, Value Captured, and Work Management. We are looking for someone with great soft skills, being able to manage relationships with employees at all levels in and across the organization, as well as financial acumen for how O&M and Capital savings would flow through financials, and be able to communicate impacts to financial leadership.
** Job Summary
** The Financial Analyst provides value-added financial services to both internal and external customers. The incumbent may assume responsibility for financial activities, including but not limited to reviewing and interpreting the impact of financial reporting proposals promulgated by governing bodies; preparing analytical studies on historical, forecast, and pro-forma financial data; developing comprehensive financial data reports for both internal and external customers;

and providing other needed expertise and reporting to accurately reflect and manage financial matters.

* Compiles, organizes and formats data, including qualitative analysis required for internal and external reporting. Identifies and researches reporting issues, provides recommendations, assists with the adoption of new reporting requirements. (Reporting)

Supports regulatory initiatives by gathering data and preparing regulatory schedules and/or preparing pro-forma calculations, testimony and data requests;
Assists with review and analysis of regulatory documents;

** Required Qualifications For Position
*** Requires four year degree in business discipline
* Four years or more experience in finance, accounting, regulatory or a related field
* Requires multiple functional experience
* Requires knowledge of PC applications
