• Support monthly close, reporting, and variance analysis, including explanations versus forecast, prior year, etc.
• Assist in the development and execution of budgets, rolling forecasts, and long‑range plans.
• Track and analyze key areas of the P&L including sales, labor, margins, G&A expenses, and store‑level finances.
• Play an active role in monthly and quarterly business reviews, preparing materials and insights for leadership.
• Build, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and KPI reporting used by Finance and Operations leadership.
• Write queries and leverage data tools to extract, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple systems.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through deep financial and operational analysis.

• Perform ad hoc analysis and financial modeling to support key initiatives such as promotions, pricing, labor optimization, or new store development.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, HR, and other teams to support headcount planning, labor forecasting, and cost management.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting, and enhance analytical efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting; retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience strongly preferred.

• Strong foundation in GAAP, financial statements, navigating ERP systems, & P&L analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL or other data query languages.
• Experience building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
• Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to quickly create models to help drive strategic decision making.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret results, understand business implications, and communicate insights clearly to non‑financial partners.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
• Self‑starter mindset with intellectual curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement.
