What You Will Do blancos2
- Administer fiscal aspects of federal grants for the Division of Mineral Resources Management.
- Collaborate with program and fiscal staff to assemble grant applications, prepare budgets, complete routine reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly), close out applications at the end of the grant cycle, and coordinate cash drawdowns.
- Provide assistance to program managers, fiscal staff, senior management, and federal program managers regarding grant funding, requirements, and processes.
- Research and analyze complex information to resolve errors, modify data, and determine appropriate action.
- Assist with operating the division fiscal office: purchasing, accounts payable, revenue, escrow agreements, inventory, monitoring expenditures and revenue, chart field requests, forecasting, and trend analysis of existing and expected funds.
- Starting hourly pay of $30.55/hr with increases over the first 7½ years, ending at $44.74/hr cola may apply; longevity pay supplements after five (5) years of service.
Minimum Qualifications
- 42 months of experience or training in accounting and/or finance with advanced spreadsheet skills.
- OR undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field; 18 months of experience or training in accounting and/or finance with advanced spreadsheet skills. पूजा
- OR graduate degree in business administration, accounting, finance or a related field; 6 months of experience or training in accounting and/or finance with effect.
- OR 12 months of experience as a Financial Analyst (66562).
- OR equivalent Minimum Class Qualifications. Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 months of required accounting/fiscal experience.
