VP of Treasury

, Ohioacute Permanent We  are seeking an experienced Director of Treasury to lead the organization’s treasury function and oversee cash management, liquidity, banking relationships, debt, investments, and financial risk management. This highly visible leadership role will partner closely with senior Finance and Accounting leadership to optimize the company’s capital structure, strengthen treasury operations, and support strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Lead the company’s overall treasury strategy, including cash positioning, liquidity management, cash forecasting, and working capital optimization.

Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions, including negotiations related to credit facilities, banking services, fees, and treasury products.

Oversee debt management, credit facilities, investments, and capital structure initiatives.

Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to support business planning and funding requirements.

Identify and manage financial risks related to interest rates, foreign currency exposure, liquidity, and banking activities.

Maintain and enhance treasury policies, internal controls, and processes while ensuring appropriate segregation of duties and risk mitigation.

Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and operational leadership on strategic initiatives and financial planning.

Evaluate opportunities to improve treasury processes through automation, technology, and banking platforms.

Support financing activities, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions as needed.

Prepare treasury reporting and analysis for executive leadership.

Lead, develop, and mentor treasury team members while building scalable processes to support organizational growth.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.

Typically 8+ years of progressive treasury, corporate finance, banking, or related experience, including leadership responsibility.

Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking, debt, investments, and financial risk management.

Experience managing complex banking relationships and credit facilities.

Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP and/or Treasury Management Systems.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with executive leadership and external financial partners.

Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on with critical treasury activities.

Preferred Qualifications Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.

MBA or advanced degree in Finance or a related discipline.

Experience with in a large, multi-entity, international, or publicly traded organization.

Exposure to foreign exchange, hedging, capital markets, or M&A activities.

Experience implementing or optimizing treasury systems, banking platforms, or automated cash-management processes.
