Work hours:
Rotating Shifts & Rotating Days Off
- Includes a training guide, physical fitness tests, monthly evaluations, and successful completion of the Field Training Dispatcher Guide.
- Under close supervision, participate in law enforcement activities such as traffic enforcement, crash investigations, criminal investigations, patrolling, rules of evidence, court procedures, and enforcement of driver licenses and vehicle registration.
- Handle desk duties at patrol post, including answering phones, taking crash and violation reports, and responding to inquiries.
- Operate Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to transmit and receive data.
- Prepare and maintain required reports.
- Operate multichannel radio systems for communication.
