As a Program Administrator 3, you will:
- Provide program direction and relieve superiors of difficult administrative duties in the ODPS Policy Compliance Program.
- Oversee the planning, formulation, and implementation of ODPS policies and procedures, including research and stakeholder collaboration to recommend changes.
- Draft policy language based on SME guidance and manage new policy development.
- Ensure new or existing policies comply with the Ohio Revised Code, Ohio Administrative Code, labor agreements, and directives from the Department of Administrative Services and Office of Budget & Management.
- Manage the intranet policy and procedure management site for all ODPS divisions, handling access changes, updates, issue resolution, and completion tracking.
- Assist with processing public records requests related to ODPS policies.
- Option 1: 5 years training or experience in business administration, management, or public administration.
- Option 2: Completion of an undergraduate core program in business administration, management, or public administration, plus 36 months training or experience in a supervisory, administrative, or managerial role.
- Option 3: Completion of an undergraduate core program in a field commensurate with the program area and 36 months training or experience in supervisory or managerial roles involving planning, research, or policy development.
- Option 4: 1 year experience as Program Administrator 2, 63123, equivalent to the minimum class qualifications.
- Completion of an undergraduate core program in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
