Police Officer
The City of Gahanna’s Division of Police is seeking lateral police officers. Applicants with current arrest powers and no two-year break in service may apply for a lateral appointment. Extensive on-duty patrol, incident response, and report writing are core functions.
Officers analyze situations, coordinate with detectives, and enforce laws to maintain order and protect citizens. Residency and physical/certification requirements apply, with regular, flexible shifts as needed.
