Fellow - Surgical Oncology## Department:

Veterinary Medicine | Veterinary Clinical Sciences The Integrated Oncology Service at The Ohio State University is offering a ACVS Fellowship in Surgical Oncology. The training program is designed for veterinarians who have completed a 3-year ACVS approved residency in small animal surgery. The 52-week appointment will consist of 42 weeks of clinic duties, with up to 8 weeks off to study for ACVS boards and 2 weeks for out rotations in areas of surgical oncology.

This appointment is 42 weeks of clinic duties, with up to 8 weeks off to study for ACVS boards and 2 weeks for outside rotations in areas of surgical oncology or vacation.

This position will provide veterinary care to patients under the supervision of attending faculty members;
Communicate with clients and referring Veterinarians (RDVM); ensure medical records are up to date and accurate;
Receive and respond to consultation phone calls from RDVM.The successful candidate will participate in specialty service meetings and Professional Development Seminars; participate and present at journal/book clubs, rounds, and case conferences; conduct clinical and basic research projects and prepare manuscript(s) for presentation and publication.
