Assistant Professor – Tenure Track – Pathology

Responsibilities- Lead an independent research program using molecular, cellular, and system biology approaches to study immunology and pathogenesis of infectious diseases.
- Secure extramural funding (K, R01 or equivalent) and publish regularly in leading immunology and infectious disease journals.
- Teach medical and graduate students and collaborate with existing research programs such as ppid.osu.edu, cmib.osu.edu, and cancer.osu.edu.
- Participate in departmental service, teaching, and clinical research as appropriate.
- Master’s degree in Public Health
- PhD in Molecular Toxicology
- Experience in Immunology and HIV research
- Current research funding
- Proven ability to write scientific reports and publish in peer‑reviewed journals
- Understanding of grant writing and obtaining funding for research
