Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic Vice President of Product to lead our product strategy, roadmap, and execution as we scale Gifthealth into the premier platform for prescription access and fulfillment. This role requires a seasoned product executive with deep experience in healthtech, pharmacy, hub services, direct to consumer/patient experience, or logistics tech—and a passion for using technology to solve real‑world problems.

As VP of Product, you will define and drive the product vision, build and mentor a high‑performing product team, and collaborate across engineering, marketing, operations, pharmacy, and executive leadership to deliver measurable impact. Key Responsibilities
  • Own Product Vision & Strategy:
    Define and articulate a compelling long‑term product vision aligned with Gifthealth’s mission and growth goals.
  • Roadmap Leadership:
    Translate the vision into actionable roadmaps that balance innovation, scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership:
    Build, manage, and inspire a product team capable of delivering on an ambitious roadmap across multiple product verticals (e.g., patient platform, provider tools, internal systems, fulfillment logistics).
  • Cross‑functional Execution:
    Partner with engineering, design, pharmacy ops, sales, and regulatory to deliver impactful and innovative solutions.
  • Competitive Advantage:
    Stay ahead of the competition by understanding where Gifthealth’s platform sits within the industry's competitive landscape and keeping up‑to‑date on market trends.
  • Customer‑Centered Innovation:
    Maintain deep empathy for our customers—patients, providers, and partners—and build products that solve real pain points. Gifthealth aims to have the best in class patient experience.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making:
    Use quantitative and qualitative insights to inform prioritization and product design; define KPIs and measure outcomes rigorously.
  • AI Implementation & Efficiency Improvements:
    Lead initiatives to implement AI and automation technologies that drive operational efficiency, reduce prescription fulfillment friction, and personalize user experiences. Partner across engineering, pharmacy, and product operations to identify high‑impact opportunities for AI‑driven process optimization, clinical intelligence, and internal tooling.
  • Compliance & Risk Awareness:
    Navigate complex healthcare regulatory environments including HIPAA, pharmacy regulation, PBM contracts, and privacy laws with sound judgment.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Act as a key spokesperson for the product organization, presenting strategy and updates to executive leadership, the board, and investors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success building and scaling tech products in healthcare, pharmacy, SaaS and logistics environments.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare regulatory landscape, including HIPAA, e‑prescribing, and pharmacy workflows.
  • Experience leading product teams in high‑growth, fast‑paced companies.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers and data scientists, with practical AI experience and application.
  • Track record of launching B2B, B2C, or B2B2C products that have scaled to serve tens of thousands of users or more.
