Columbus Springs Dublin, Dublin, OH (72‑bed hospital, part of Lifepoint Health)

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and pleasing environment for patients, staff, and guests. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and removing trash. Ensures that toiletry and linen needs are replenished at all times. Inventories and orders cleaning supplies and equipment. Works with plant operations to provide a safe, risk‑free environment within OSHA regulations and hospital standards.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma, GED, or combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Previous housekeeping in a hospital setting preferred.
• License:
  Valid driver’s license preferred.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk‑preventative environment within OSHA regulations.
• Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the hospital.
• Report any situations that may affect health and well‑being of patients or employees.
• Assure that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.
• Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials in accordance with OSHA.
• Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor.
• Submit any patient personal belongings left behind to nursing supervisor.
• Follow P&Ps for terminal cleaning of a room.
• Follow instructions in use of germicidal solutions when cleaning.
• Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.
