Location: Canal Winchester
Schedule: Monday 3P-11P, Tuesday 3P-11P, Thursday 3P-11P, Saturday 7A-3P, Sunday 7A-3P
Medication administration certification required!
Responsibilities:- Perform tasks with consideration and care for the complete individual, aiming for each client to live a healthy and meaningful life.
- Administer bedside or personal care, such as ambulation or personal hygiene assistance.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including cooking, cleaning, washing clothes or dishes, and running errands.
- Care for individuals or families during periods of incapacitation, family disruption, or convalescence, providing companionship, personal care, or help in adjusting to new lifestyles.
- Perform healthcare-related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication, under the supervision of registered nurses or physiotherapists.
- Plan, shop for, or prepare nutritious meals or assist families in doing so.
- Transport clients outside the home, such as to physicians' offices or on outings, using a motor vehicle.
- Instruct or advise clients on household cleanliness, utilities, hygiene, nutrition, or infant care.
- Maintain records of clients' progress, services performed, and changes in condition.
- Meet weekly reporting requirements on clients' goals and health and well-being.
Additional Duties: Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to move/reposition patients of any weight or size with assistance or adaptive equipment.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Maintain current background check.
- Complete state-mandated DODD 8-hour annual training and re-certification.
