Nutrition Care Technician 2 – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Job DescriptionThe Clinical Nutrition area provides nutritional care and/or education to OSUMC patients, their families, staff, students, and the community. This consult-based service delivers nutritional care pursuant to physician orders. Dietetic technicians are responsible for providing or assisting with nutritional care, including screening, menu checking/modification, ongoing nutrition intervention, and diet education, under the supervision of a registered/licensed dietitian. Dietetic technicians must meet daily job duties, provide or assist with staff, student, and community education, and meet professional development goals.
Position located at University Hospitals.
- High School graduate or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Registered dietetic technician or eligible for registration, or a 4‑year dietetics degree.
- Preferred: prior experience as a dietetic technician.
