Under the general supervision of the Team Leader and Director of Sports Medicine and the clinical supervision of individual physical therapists, the PTA provides treatment according to a physical therapy plan of care, treating patients according to state laws. The PTA, Sports Medicine provides physical therapy interventions for a patient population comprised predominantly of active individuals with orthopedic conditions.

• 2-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Completion of approved education curriculum as a physical therapy assistant State of Ohio licensure.
• Maintains state licensure as PTA.
• Demonstrates competence in clinical and interpersonal skills to meet essential job functions.
• Meets mandatory health and education requirements.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
