Full‑time day shift position at Riverside Methodist Hospital in the retail pharmacy. Monday–Friday with no holidays.

• High school diploma, GED, or foreign school diploma equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma (Required)
• Minimum age 18 (Required)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (Required)
• High school level skills and good communication skills
• Ability to gather and interpret data, exchange information, explain instructions and follow existing procedures and assignments
• Knowledge of compounding, pharmacy math, hospital pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and drug names (trade & generic)
• Detail‑oriented, works well in an interdisciplinary team, adaptable

Interprets, obtains, prepares/compounds, labels, and distributes pharmacy products for patient use while taking into consideration patient age and other relevant information. May also prepare IV medications and process refill requests for non‑monitored pharmacy medications such as enteral products or respiratory medications. Documents the distribution of medication in accordance with department policy. Involves production, packaging, record‑keeping, and stocking tasks.

• Accountable for all tasks as defined in policy, procedures, or standard of therapy
• Prepares/compounds a comprehensive range of therapies, accurately documents preparation activities, and labels pharmacy products according to department policy for final distribution
• Actively involved in the medication distribution process: ordering, receiving, stocking, dispensing
• Participates in process improvement activities
• Participates in new associate training as needed
• Proposes, monitors, and improves key metrics
• Participates in T3 activities as needed to fulfill department/patient needs and professional development

Day shift; 40 hours per week.
