• Package, prepare, and distribute medications
• Control inventory, maintain proper medication levels, and ensure security and timely updates of drug records
• Provide customer service and support to nursing and medical staff
• Maintain pharmacy records and documentation
• Participate in ongoing training to develop skills in other pharmacy areas
• Assist pharmacists, technicians III & IV, and team managers with productivity management, training, and orientation of new staff
• Comply with all hospital and department rules and regulations and conduct themselves in a positive, encouraging manner that reflects the hospital’s vision and values

This position assists the licensed pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services to patients and informs nursing and medical staff. Responsibilities include preparing and packaging moderately complex medications, distributing advanced medications, supplies and equipment, keeping appropriate inventory levels, ensuring medication security, and maintaining proper records and documentation. The role also supports initiatives of area managers.

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (preferable 2–4 years)

• Technician will float between ambulatory infusion and OSU East Hospital

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
