The Occupational Therapist in Acute Care Rehabilitation provides occupational therapy treatment to a diverse group of diagnoses including spinal cord injury, head injury, stroke, and orthopedic patients, as well as all patients in University Hospital, the Ross Heart Hospital, and the James Cancer Hospital requiring rehabilitation services. Responsible for the evaluation & development of a comprehensive care plan for all patients.
Functions within a team concept of rehab professionals. Documents patients' abilities, progress & outcomes. Provides quality services to an assigned group of patients and performs duties associated with patient care and participation in interdisciplinary teams.
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Ohio.
