Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night float pool position requiring IV start and telemetry experience with an active OH or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Hospital setting on a Med/Surg float pool,

• Floats to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed,

• Cares for adult Med/Surg patient population,

• Handles patient ratios of 1:4-5,

• Schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) including weekend nights,

• Uses Epic EMR system and telemetry monitoring equipment,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience,

• Current BCLS certification,

• Proficient with IV start and telemetry monitoring,

• Experience with Epic EMR,

Additional Information

• Must provide high-quality nursing care and demonstrate flexibility in floating within units,

• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential,

• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail are required,

• Holiday coverage is expected according to unit needs,
